About CEO Update:
CEO Update is the most respected print and digital news source for information about executives and careers in the association sector. The award-winning publication also produces analyses of salaries and association finances, runs multiple association job boards, and holds events tailored for association executives. CEO Update maintains a comprehensive database about associations through mining of public records and other sources.
CEO Update is seeking a part-time research assistant to work 20 hours a week in our Washington, D.C., office. Good opportunity for student, recent graduate or freelancer. Must be available 20 hours a week, four or five days a week. This is not an internship or temporary opportunity.
•Gathering data and information for print and online content
•Updating and managing information for website, social media, job board and databases
•Researching leads aimed at increasing circulation and advertising
•Attending CEO Update events and marketing the publication to association executives
•Assisting in a variety of administrative duties
•Ability to organize and manage projects, with great attention to detail and accuracy
•High level of competency in oral and written communication
•Ability to work independently, solve problems
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, e-mail, Internet); Mac, PhotoShop, FileMaker, InDesign, web maintenance experience a plus
The CEO Update office is conveniently located at 1725 Eye Street NW, close to several Metro stops, including Farragut West and Farragut North.
