Are you an ambitious journalist with an interest in what the world’s largest investors want to do in private real estate?
If the answer is yes, then PERE (PERENews.com), the leading global publication dedicated entirely to the subject, wants to hear from you.
PERE is an award-winning magazine and daily news service written by journalists from offices in London, New York and Hong Kong.
Ten years old last year, the publication has steadily crafted a market-dominating position and a reputation for informing the world’s biggest investors, investment managers and the advisors that serve them, of the most salient goings-on in the sector.
PERE is a growing force too and, as such, we have an opportunity for a reporter to join its editorial ranks from its New York office.
If you are a news and analysis-hungry and career-focused journalist with a passion for finance, an appetite for dedicating and building your personal brand in a particular market place and a talent for cultivating high-level sources, then do get in touch.
PERE is owned by PEI, the global financial information group focused exclusively on alternative asset finance and investment. For more information about PEI, please visit: www.thisispei.com
Formal journalism education or training is a must.
The successful candidate should already have built up a cuttings book of impactful stories, preferably over one to two years of working experience in business journalism.
Previous journalism experience covering real estate would be an advantage, but is not essential.
He/she should be able to demonstrate an aptitude for both exclusive news and proprietary analysis writing.
He/she should be a keen networker and be keen to attend sector events as well as, on occasion, travel for assignments.
Fluency in languages beyond English is a plus.
A keen understanding of social media and video creation, editing and production is also a plus.
